Hi I was wondering if you guys can put people to sleep during circumcisions? And how long is the wait to come and get it done?

Good morning Paul,

Thank you for your interest in what we do.  Of course you can have general anesthesia (put to sleep), but that would increase your fee by 600. 

99% (and this is not a figure of speech) per cent of our patents do very under local and we can add some IV sedation (you’ll still will be awake, but like you had 3 martinis), at no added charge.  We can also put numbing cream on your skin, so you won’t feel the local going in.  How’s that?

We have performed over 6000 cosmetic circumcisions in the past 35 years and usually do several cases every week.

We do ask that you stay for one, ideally 2 days at the Baltic Hotel (advanced tourist class) and I will see you there daily.

You could return to an office environment 3 days after circumcision.  Our 2 layered wrap of soft conforming gauze and Coban will provide comfort and reduce swelling.

We have done sons of physicians, medical students and residents, brothers, religious circumcisions, men who have not seen the heads of their penis for 20 years.  This is your circumcision and we do it the way you want with respect
to 4 parameters.

Hi Dr. Reed,

I found this email address on www.penisdoctor.com, I am hoping to arrange a consultation regarding a variety of things!

First of all, a few years ago I received silicone injections - 60cc in my scrotum and 10/20cc in my penis.I love the sensation of having a foreskin ( from the silicone in my penis shaft, I was circumcised as a kid), I love the size and the way it feels, however, I am dissatisfied with its appearance. My penis shaft is lumpy, there is a small area that looks inflamed, it looks inflated when flaccid rather than dangling down like a normal penis,

Therefore I am looking to reverse the silicone procedure, and would like to review other augmentation methods.

I am not sure if I am able to have everything done at once or whether it would have to be done in stages, so please provide me a breakdown of costs, and what you would do for the following:

1. removal of silicone
2. foreskin restoration (do you do this surgery?)
3 penile lengthening and augmentation
           (there seems to be lots of techniques in AlloDerm, scaffolding, fat transfer etc - what’s the difference in using each of these )
4. glanular enhancement
5. penis lengthening
            (is there a way to disguise/minimise the scars)
6. testicular enlargement

I have part-time work in adult entertainment, which I love to do. Therefore I want to go as long, and wide (within sensible limitations) as possible.

I’ve noticed that I have seen any ‘new’ advances in cosmetic surgery to the penis - are there any new techniques that I should consider waiting for?

Having multiple needs to use something like Monostat(?) to decrease discomfort from stretching or urination during the years, I am seeking a permanent solution to the problem, and am curious about what to look to as the surgery and discomfort during healing, therefrom.

Put the Monistat in the bottom drawer of your bathroom vanity and leave it there for the ladies.  Bacteria and yeast just love warm, moist places where the sun doesn’t shine.

Just curious to know if there is a difference in sensation from a low cut to a high cut , do nerves in your opinion really rechannel themselves. Take care, Antonio

Thank you for your interest in what we do.  Regarding high or low cut, there is no known difference in sensation leading to “mean ejaculatory latency time, MELT.”   After all is said and done MELT is the best indicator of sensation.   Yes, in the penis a lot of experience has shown that distal nerves do regenerate.  Not to worry.

When I perform a circumcision I am well above the layer of the neuro-vascular bundle.

Hi Dr. Reed,

I am interested in circumcision revision. I was circumcised at age 11, I’m now 32. Since I was old enough to know the difference, I’ve been very unhappy with how my penis looks. Based on my research, the procedure was done freehand using sutures. The incision line is uneven and I have a couple dozen suture scars around the top of the shaft just under the glans. (Kind of like railroad tracks.) Most of the suture scars are quite thick and pronounced. Many of them touch and even enter the corona. My question is: could a revision help clean up the look of my penis? I know it will never be “perfect” but I would love to lose the ragged, scarred look if possible.   Matthew
