whats the best way to remove suture marks and scar line from a circumcision done years ago? The scar is very near the corona and is very visible whether flaccis or erect.
Hi Jimbo,
Depending how close the scars are to the coronal sulcus, the groove just before the flare of the rim of the head, these scars can be removed and usually there is enough skin to close. This is one reason to avoid ultra low circumcisions as there is not room for correction of the lower (distal) side. Also bringing two
unequal circumferences together always results in some gathering of skin unless a V-dart is made on the underside. But believe me, we will try to sort this out and present your most favorable options. As one patient said, my penis is my calling card, so we don’t want questions asked. That’s not what intimacy is
for.
