Adult Circumcision and Intravaginal Latency Time
Drs. Marcel Waldinger and group report in the Journal of Sexual Medicine (Vol. 6, No. 10, 2009) a survey of 5 nations. Average time in the vagina before ejaculation is 5.7 minutes. For men from the UK where circumcision is less prevalent, 10.0 minutes and men from Turkey where circumcision may be more prevalent on average lasted about 4.4 minutes. In general there was no difference between circumcised and uncircumcised men. Of the men who were asked “do you think your time to ejaculate is shorter than what you would like?”, those that said “yes” had on average 5.2 minutes to ejaculation and of those who said “no” lasted 6.8 minutes. Perhaps over-reading, but an extra 1 1/2 minutes made a difference. Surprisingly condom usage also did not affect latency time.
This supports what has been said before… in general circumcision has no bearing on sensitivity (required to produce orgasm).
