Synechia

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

Saw a handsome 25 year old architect with synechia or inflammatory fusion between the inner foreskin and the corona (rim) of the glans.  Whether this skin that is rolled in and “plastered” together ever has seen the  light of day is unclear.  However, the way to break op the vicious cycle of recurrent tearing and scar deposition is with a circumcision which will put some gentle tension on the skin so it no longer covers the glans, and the application of antibiotic ointment a few times a day, until the area completely re-epithelializes.  True, after separation of this area under local anesthesia, ointment only
could be the next step, but in my opinion this seldom works.

Letter of thanks, following adult circumcision

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Thank you very much for you wonderful effort, now I sure hope that they work.
I will let you know as soon as they arrive.  Hopefully 500mg will be enough to cause me to have an erection.  Right now I am using a metal ring that I place at the base of my penis and it keeps the blood in the penis. Sometimes it is very uncomfortable, but does produce a fine erection.  Without it and one of the pills, I can produce a moderate erection with manual stimulation but as soon as I attempt to penatrate it goes limp.
Barb thinks that this last circumcision is an absolute wonder, there is only a little skin movement during intercourse and she really enjoys all of the friction of no skin sliding inside of itself.
You stated that my circumcison is generally acceptable, would you have done anything differently?  There is still always more options for improvement.
I will let you know when the Muse arrives and just how satisfied we are with the new drugs.
Thank you again

Dear Edward,

The reason “generally” was used is that I did not see
a well focused photo of the underside of your penis,
and I am very reluctant to use self-laudatory comments.

Please do not feel obligated to take another photo if you are happy, as this is what really counts.

Sincerely, and have a wonderful weekend,

“A circumcision is a circumcision” Really?

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Hello can you recommend any good male urologist in the Miami-Dade, Florida area that do good quality circumsions?and is not to expensive. I use the Neighborhood health partnership insurance and there are so many male urologist to choose from but I want the best because I seened a female urologist who when I asked for a high and tight she said ” A CIRCUMSION IS A CIRCUMSION , THERE ARE NO TYPES” so I concluded she could give me a bad quality circumcision so I choose never to go back there again. Help me please.,  K.P.

Dear K.P.

Good morning K.P.,

Thanks for your E-mail inquiry and visiting our
web-site http://penisdoctor.com/circumcision.htm.

A circumcision is perhaps the highest cosmetic
calling given to a urologist.

Regretfully we do not maintain a directory of a handful
of urologists who are exceedingly gifted in cosmetic circumcision.

Our patients come from all over the world including
the UK, several each month, and even Kazakhstan
(from a small town Alma-Ata, 150 miles west of the Chinese
border).  One patient said something I’ll never forget…
“my penis is my calling card.”

We do several circumcisions and a few revisions
here every week, as we enjoy a reputation for
excellence and exactitude when it comes to
cosmetically performed adult circumcisions.  We
operate within tolerances of 1/32″ or about 1/2 mm.

Puckers on the underside of the penis

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Last week, a man who had an adult circumcison a few years ago had a penile lengthening procedure and we noted puckers on the underside of the penis, like little skin ears.

This happens when the tissue from either side is not gathered or approximated evenly and in this case was corrected just by removing the puckers down to skin level and putting in a few stitches of rapidly absorable suture material.

We like to apply Sur-Strips over this area to splint the closure, less stress and better wound healing.
